Programs
Breaking the cycle of addiction doesn’t start with going to rehab; it begins with a medically supervised detoxification program. Fortunately, True Life Recovery has a medication assisted detox program to help you rid your body of substances so you can start on your new path of recovery.

Medication Assisted Detox
If you have decided to seek help for drug or alcohol addiction, you may be wondering how to get started. The answer is with a drug and alcohol detox program. In a detox program, medical professionals will safely help you get through the withdrawal portion of your recovery. Ridding your body of substances can be an uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous process, so it’s critical that you do so in a medically supervised treatment center.
At True Life Recovery, you will detox from drugs or alcohol safely with our caring staff of medical professionals and counselors there to help you every step of the way. Dr. Randall Turner, DO, our clinical director, and Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Addiction Specialist, will oversee your treatment and assess your individual needs regarding medication management and individual therapy if it’s needed.
We are proud to offer medication assisted detox for various substances, including alcohol, barbiturates, cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, and opiates.
Residential Treatment
When you decide to start your recovery journey, it’s important to find a treatment center that meets your needs. Often, people struggling with alcohol and substance abuse have triggers in their life that can cause the addiction. Being around these triggers can make recovery very difficult and put an individual at high risk for relapse. Luckily, True Life Recovery offers residential treatment programs to help individuals focus on recovery.
In a residential program, clients live at the facility where they receive treatment. In these residences, clients don’t have access to the outside world, allowing them to focus all of their energy on recovery. This also separates individuals from any people or situations that could trigger a relapse.

Relapse Prevention
Relapse prevention techniques focus on your life after you complete drug or alcohol treatment. While relapse is often a part of recovery, it doesn’t have to be.
Relapse prevention involves identifying triggers and behaviors that may lead to relapse. Identifying these triggers may make it easier for you to avoid specific situations that may lead to drug or alcohol use. However, not all triggers are avoidable. When you learn relapse prevention techniques, you will be armed with the tools you need to deal with unavoidable triggers and to keep from falling into old behaviors.
At True Life Recovery, our relapse prevention program will help you develop crucial skills while changing the areas of your life that will promote lifelong recovery.
Case Management
Addiction treatment isn’t something that is easy to go through alone. That’s why we offer case management to ensure that you have the support you need through the whole treatment process. With our case management, every client is matched with a case manager to help before, during, and after treatment.
Your case manager is the person who will work with you, your family, and your treatment team to make sure that your treatment and recovery go as smoothly as possible. Some of the key responsibilities for our case managers are:
- Coordinating care with outside providers
- Coordinating care with True Life Recovery clinical team members
- Providing vocational help
- Engaging with families as their first point of contact
- Communicating with clients outside of regular business hours
